July 2022 Project Report presented at the AGM
New Facilities for the Community – Hall, Playground, MUGA and Site Improvements – make a donation
The new building will provide two halls, which can be used independently or combined for larger events, as well as a committee room for smaller, ad hoc meetings. There will also be changing facilities for those playing sport in the hall or outside.
A well-lit Multi Use Games area will replace the very tired tennis court, providing for organised as well as ‘kick about’ play and space for small children to ride their bikes safely.
The new children’s playground will be built on a safer site, away from the main road, with an area dedicated to the Under 5s and with accessible equipment
The improved car park will separate vehicles from pedestrians, thus being safer for those using the hall and playing field, visiting the adjacent village shop or whilst doing the school run to the nearby Primary School, where parking is extremely limited.
The garden area at the front of the site will provide a quieter area for relaxation, whilst allowing some occasional overflow parking if necessary.
Bradfield Village Hall CIO is solely responsible for all the facilities within its grounds and needs to generate sufficient income from the letting of the hall, and occasionally the MUGA, to finance their upkeep. This development project will enable these facilities to be available for the community now and into the future. How you can help!
